Creating this classroom theme has been my dream since before I opened my Teachers Pay Teachers shop. My first attempt was created almost three years ago for my mom’s classroom, but it didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted it.
It was my first time designing classroom decorations, but while the elements were beautiful, it just didn’t quite meet the mark. I wanted neutral decorations, so I made everything in black and white. That way, I could add color to the room with holiday decorations and other accessories. It was the perfect plan, right? Well actually, it was not. The school year started, but alas, the classroom was never finished. It felt incomplete, sterile, empty, and a little sad.
That’s where I began my search. I wanted to find classroom decorations that were cute and practical, but also elegant and sophisticated.
As I scoured the internet, I couldn’t find anything even remotely similar to what I had in mind. That just wouldn’t do, so I decided I needed to remedy the lack of cafe theme classroom decorations immediately. I’ve been working on these decorations for wayyy too long.
