Hi everyone! I’m Gracie,
And I’m the girl behind The Littlest Classroom.
and in reality, I’m not actually a teacher! I never have been, not professionally, at least. I do, however, love making beautiful and useful classroom resources and decorations.
I call this place The Littlest Classroom because my classroom exists only in my mind. While I don’t have physical classroom, I am constantly creating new classroom decorations and educational resources in in my head, so I want to bring them to life in your classroom!
When I was in school. one of my favorite things was coming into the classroom each month and seeing the new bulletin boards on the wall. Getting ready for upcoming holidays and seasons just made me so happy!
Throughout the years I noticed how different classrooms really affected the way I felt. Some classrooms felt happy, some felt, depressing, but most felt chaotic with little rime or reason for the way things were set up.
Sometimes I could hardly concentrate on my schoolwork because of how disorganized the walls were or how ugly I thought the classroom looked. Maybe that’s just me, but I’m really banking on the idea that I’m not the only one.
Anyway…
I really love decorating and interior design, and I believe the principles and elements of design can and should carry over into any space: including the classroom. And who says a classroom can’t be as beautiful as a room in a house can be?
That’s where our adventure begins. I want to help you create a beautiful and magical classroom that you and your students love to be in!
